AMLEV  PECULIARITIES:

 

Magneto-dynamic suspension:

·     is based on  rare-earth permanent magnets and laminated steel cores covered by aluminum layer;

·     is self-regulating without servo control;produces stabilizing forces by  rare earth permanent magnets;

·     implements self-regulation by employing non-linearity of saturated steel;

·     employs eddy currents in the aluminum layer to maintain magnetic flux in saturated steel cores;

·     dangerous vibrations of a vehicle are impossible.

 

Linear propulsion motor with extended poles:

·     rotor poles are made of  rare-earth permanent magnets;

·     rotor poles change their length during vehicle motion;

·     stator is powered by three-phase current of constant frequency;

·     the length and cross-section of the stator’s winding turns are different at different parts of track;

·     self-regulation of motor speed and propulsion force are attained by synchronous changing rotor poles and pole pitches in accordance with the turn length of the passed parts of the stator’s winding.

 

Power system:     

three-phased current of constant frequency.
